Siguniang Shan
Mount Siguniang is a non-technical climb for its trekking peaks, but acclimatization and pacing are essential for summit success. Among the accessible summits, Da Feng (5,025m) and Er Feng (5,276m) are ideal for beginners and intermediate trekkers, offering well-established routes and gradual elevation gain. San Feng (5,355m) presents a more demanding ascent, with steep scree and icy terrain near the summit—crampons may be required depending on conditions.
Towering above them all is Yaomei Feng (6,250m), also known as the Youngest Sister. It is the highest and most technical peak in the Siguniang range, requiring advanced alpine skills, rope work, and glacier travel. Yaomei Feng is reserved for elite mountaineers and remains one of China’s most coveted high-altitude climbs.
