Details Itinerary

Day 3: Rilong – Acclimatization Day

Altitude: 3,100m – 3,700m

Accommodation: Local guesthouse (twin or triple share)

Meal: Breakfast, Dinner

A dedicated acclimatization day essential for high-altitude preparation. Enjoy an active recovery trek through the surrounding valleys (such as Haizi or Changping Valley) to help your body adapt naturally. Final summit pack preparation, team briefing, and early rest.

Day 5: Da Feng Base Camp – Da Feng Summit (5,025m) – Er Feng Base Camp

Altitude: 4,300m - 5,025m

Accommodation: Tent (twin share)

Meal: Breakfast; Dinner

  • 03:00 AM – Summit Push: Ascend the rocky trail and ridge line under the stars toward the summit of Da Feng (5,025m).

    Catch an unforgettable sunrise above the clouds with panoramic views across the Siguniang range. Descend back to the base camp area for a hot meal and rest, then traverse across to Er Feng Base Camp (~4,350m). Early dinner and rest in preparation for the second summit push.

Day 6: Er Feng Base Camp – Er Feng Summit (5,276m) – Rilong Town (Elevation: ~3,100m)

Altitude: 5,276m

Accommodation: Local guesthouse (twin or triple share)

Meal: Breakfast, Dinner

  • 02:30 AM – Alpine Push: Set off for the steeper, scree-laden, and rocky ascent to Er Feng Summit (5,276m).

    Celebrate reaching the highest point of the expedition with 360-degree views of the Eastern Alps. Descend back to Er Feng Base Camp to pack gear, then continue all the way down to Rilong Town (3,100m).

  • Check in to the lodge for a warm shower, relaxation, and dinner.

Day 7: Rilong Town – Chengdu

Scenic descent drive from Rilong back to the vibrant city of Chengdu. Hotel check-in and free time to explore pedestrian streets such as Chunxi Road, Taikoo Li, or Jinli Ancient Street. Enjoy authentic Sichuan cuisine and hotpot to celebrate the completed climb.

Please note that this is the only guideline and outline program from day-by-day itinerary. There can be a lot of changes in those dates as per the weather and mountain conditions as well as personal health condition.

Day 4: Rilong – Da Feng Base Camp

Altitude: ~4,300m

Accommodation: Dafeng Basecamp (Tent) 

Meal: Breakfast, Dinner

Begin the mountain trek from Rilong (3,100m) hiking up to Da Feng Base Camp (4,300m). Trek through open yak pastures, forested trails, and glacial streams (approx. 15 km, 5–7 hours). Arrive at base camp, settle into the mountain stone hut/tents, hydrate, and prepare for the pre-dawn summit push.

Day 1: Travelling day to Chengdu

Once all participants have confirmed their attendance, we will schedule a meeting to finalize the travel day itinerary. Given the numerous airline options available for reaching the destination, it is essential to plan effectively to accommodate everyone’s preferences. Group transfer to your hotel in Chengdu. Rest and gear up for the mountain journey ahead.

Day 2: Chengdu - Rilong

Driving: 200 km, 4hrs

Altitude: 500 m - 3,200 m

Accommodation: Local guesthouse (twin or triple share)

Meal: None

Embark on a scenic drive from Chengdu into the western highlands toward Rilong Town (~3,100m). Journey through the famous Balang Shan Pass / Tunnel, enjoying dramatic shifts in landscape and sea of clouds. Arrive in Rilong, check into the guesthouse/lodge, followed by an evening briefing and gear check.

Day 8: Departure Day – Chengdu to Kuala Lumpur

After an unforgettable expedition across the Siguniang peaks, it’s time to head home. Check out from your hotel and transfer to Chengdu Tianfu International Airport (TFU) for your flight back to Kuala Lumpur.
